Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 15 from Lord_Emrys on April 22, 2014
Excellent story, but how does the most powerful dark wizard in existence use a pure light spell where you have to think of happy memories?
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 27 from 1reader1writer on June 12, 2011
I really enjoyed this. I hope you get back to it one day soon

YAY! Harry wises up and things begin to roll
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 15 from DnG on April 27, 2011
Just wondering how the DE's were able to cast the patronus charm? It does require happy memories, not hatred!
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 27 from jimmycranberry on May 29, 2010
Wow. Wow. Wow. This is an awesome story. Truly a masterpiece! I can't wait for the next update!
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 27 from Jeram on November 01, 2009
Just got back to reading fanfiction - busy with school. A good chapter - although I'm not positive about the Daphne bit. I guess I can live with it - I'm surprised she was able to break the Imperius, honestly. But I enjoyed the action scenes, and you had a pleasantly satisfying body count.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 27 from darkrazial on October 20, 2009
oh yeah very well done and I loved this chapter can't wait for more david
Author reply
Thanks, david. Glad you enjoyed the big battle in Hogsmeade. There will be a lot of consequences for both sides next chapter. Hopefully it will be ready by this weekend.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 26 from Jeram on October 18, 2009
This was pretty fun. I wasn't sure about some things, like the bellydancing scene got a bit too graphic for my tastes, in that it explicitly used phrases I find unappealing in text form (too much like bad AFF.com stuff). The action scenes were as usual, a lot of fun. I actually liked how Harry didn't just easily win or even win at all. More interesting that way. And the Dumbles bit at the end was a good cliffhanger, but I haven't read 27 yet. That'll have to wait until I finish some other work first.
Author reply
Thanks for the review, Jeram. C'mon, man, you found the belly dancing too graphic?! I cut away before any of the really fun stuff happened :) Hope you like 27. It's even more violent than 26. Chapter 28 should be ready in a few days.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 27 from Aaran St Vines on October 12, 2009
This was a very fine battle scene, and I'm known to write good ones myself. I'd be delighted to claim this one. Very well done.
Author reply
Thanks, Aaran! It was fun to write, but admittedly it took a lot out of me. I found myself on edge while I was writing it. Next chapter will be out in a few days.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 27 from BJH on October 10, 2009
Nice chapter. Well planned and executed battle scenes. You bounced across POVs but never became confusing. So Moldie got his ass kicked, what will he do about it? Bella escapes again. Loved Daphne beating the curse and stomping Draco, please don't let her be punished for it, either by DD or the DEs. (Curious that those two abbreviations are so close huh?) Really, really well done. BJH
Author reply
Thanks for the review, BJH. Glad you liked the bit with Daphne and Draco. There will be some interesting repercussions from that situation next chapter. It should be ready in a few days. Cheers.

Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 27 from Voice of the Nephilim on October 10, 2009
Very quality battle scene to begin the chapter. I was particularly fond of Jugson's end. Moody's end was very fitting, and by his preference. It's nice to see you won't be pulling your punches with canon characters. Here's to hoping Daphne kills Draco horribly. A good note to send Lupin out on. With his skill level, he had no realistic chance of killing Greyback without assistance. Also, I was fond of the final statement on Lupin's life being on of tragedy. Poor bastard never could catch a break. I was certainly not disappointed with Draco's demise. Ha. Quality ending to the chapter, with Voldemort being overwhelmed. Well done on the chapter.
Author reply
Thanks for the review, Voice. I thought it turned out well, all things considered. Glad you enjoyed Draco's demise. It's got some serious repercussions next chapter. It should be out by this weekend. Cheers.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 27 from whatareyouevensaying on October 10, 2009
That was fucking spectacular. There wasn't a single word of this chapter out of place, everything was amazing. From Harry's amazing display of skill to the death of Draco Malfoy (I absolutely love it when he isn't important enough to warrant Harry killing him). Using Daphne like that was a stroke of brilliance. Of course other people can break the Imperius, the more they're asked to do things they never would otherwise. A bit of humiliation in a classroom is one thing, but sex with a ferret... Pity that Lupin lost to Greyback, but if he'd won I'd probably be complaining about how unrealistic that is, so nice work making the tough decisions, with Savage as well. Ron had a good bit in this chapter, basically useless, following his brothers the same way he followed Harry. He isn't worth sparing any more thoughts on than Draco was. Oh, and I also loved Moody's scene. Fucking brilliant. Looking forward to more.
Author reply
Wow, thanks for the high praise! The big battle was fun to write, but it was also emotionally exhausting. Next chapter will bring a welcome respite from the violence. It should be ready by this weekend.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 26 from bjon66 on October 07, 2009
Killer chapter.. Can't wait for next one..
Author reply
Thanks, bjon. Glad you're enjoying the story. Next chapter should be out in a day or two.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 25 from Hamm On Wry on October 05, 2009
"Tonks muttered to herself and moved to examine the man embedded in the wall. “Jules and I took out two bad guys outside….using stunners, I might add.” What part of WAR doesn't your Tonks understand? In a war, you don't stun your enemy, they will just be revived and out doing their killing and kidnapping the next day. The way Harry did it, that one 'auror' won't be out on the next murder run. A real war is always fought by attrition, kill enough of their guys and soon they won't have anyone to attack you and carry out evil deeds. My old Gunny Sergeant had two pearls of wisdom: 1) Kill them all and let God sort 'em out, and 2) The purpose of an army is to kill people and break their things.
Author reply
Thanks for the review, Hamm. I agree in general with your thoughts on fighting a war, and so would Tonks in a pitched battle scenario. I imagine that she criticized Harry for a couple reasons. 1 - she's worried about him, as she sees him become increasingly brutal in his methods since Blankenship's death. He's powerful, but he's still only 15. 2 - this was a situation where they could take prisoners, at least in her mind. She didn't witness the scene that Harry did, or she probably would have agreed with his choice to kill the Auror Thanks for reading.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 26 from darkrazial on October 03, 2009
This rocks, I really enjoyed this. And you leaving it on a cliffhanger with dumbledore facing off against Voldemort was real good. However I somehow find it hard to fathom how harry could ever feel pleased to see the headmaster again after everthing he has done to him maybe relieved but that is it anything keep it up david
Author reply
Thanks for the review, darkrazial. Yeah, Harry isn't sure whether he can trust Dumbledore in this situation either. It all comes to a head next chapter, which should be out in a couple days. Cheers.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 26 from RyuuKasai on October 02, 2009
I must say, I'm very impressed by your battle scenes. The action is simultaneously fast paced and easy to follow, and it describes the gore well without going over the top and reveling in it. I also liked that Harry was somewhat overwhelmed... sure, he's powerful, but Voldie has had decades over him to learn the ins and outs of battle. Nicely done, and a joy to read.
Author reply
Thanks for the review, Ryuu. Glad you're enjoying the story. Harry, Dumbledore, and Voldemort will continue slugging it out next chapter, which will be ready in a day or two. Thanks for reading.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 26 from Aaran St Vines on October 01, 2009
One of the best Battles of Hogsmeade I've read. Well done.
Author reply
Thanks, Aaran. I spent a lot of time on it, trying to make it seem realistic and chaotic. Part 2 of the battle is going to be pretty bloody. It'll be ready soon.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 26 from whatareyouevensaying on October 01, 2009
Dunno which part to sing praises for first...the belly-dancing scene was inspired. I'm not sure if I've ever seen it before, but way to go. The whole battle was great. I have to wonder if Remus was hit by any friendly fire. Yes, I'm curious about the fight between him and Greyback, but can't you just picture some idiot hitting the two werewolves fighting each other with a curse or two? Harry's battles were phenomenal, and I really loved the fight he put up against Voldemort. I'm not sure what exactly is going through Dumbledore's mind at this point in time, but I know that it's going to be an excellent fight. Looking forward to more.
Author reply
Thanks for the kind words! Harry is wondering about Dumbledore's motives too, and they'll become a little clearer in the coming fight. Next chapter should be out in a day or two.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 25 from feuerfliege on September 23, 2009
Very interesting story so far. Very enjoyable. I like it that you're giving many of the characters a slightly (or quite a bit) different attitude than they have in canon. And in a believable way, too. One thing I don't quite get is Fawkes though. Why did he suddenly start helping Harry actively? Is it just because Dumbledore was actively trying to get him killed? I mean, it's quite obvious that Fawkes is interested in Harry and quite capable of getting what he wants. He could've just taken him away from the Dursleys to ... wherever, couldn't he? Especially since he must've known Albus' plans from the start. Oh well, maybe there'll be an explanation for that later, maybe not. Anyway, I really enjoyed your story up to now and I'm looking forward to reading the next installment
Author reply
Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you're enjoying the story. With respect to Fawkes, I don't want to spoil anything at this point. I'll only say that he will make an appearance in the story near the end, and his role will then become clearer. Next chapter will be up soon, and thanks again for reading.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 11 from feuerfliege on September 22, 2009
Very nice. I've enjoyed this story a lot so far. Actually I wasn't quite sure if I liked it or not in the beginning, but now that things are coming together I like it a lot. To the reason I'm writing this review right now though: I can't believe you named that goblin Drecksack of all things! If I hadn't been sitting in the library when I read it I would've literally laughed my ass off. Too bad I had to contain my amusement. Are you German or do you simply know a bit of the language?
Author reply
Thanks for the review, feuerfliege. I'm not German, but yeah, that name for the goblin was no accident. In college I had a Swedish friend who taught me and my friends a bunch of curse words in various languages. 'Drecksack' is pretty mild, but it's one that stuck. It seems to be the perfect name for a goblin :) The other goblin--Bumchod--was chosen for the meaning of his name in Hindi.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 25 from Jeram on September 16, 2009
You probably already noticed this, but your evil Aurors were named: Darren Kilgore and Reggie Cates Yet you referenced "Darren Cates" - I'm pretty sure you weren't subtly implying they had been merged into a hideous, misshapen monstrosity. protego should be capitalized (spell name) unless you use shield charm or shield same for occlumency More than 1,000 refugees now occupied its ==> a thousand The number there looks odd. Interesting parallel - Malfoys using the journal against the old Riddle Horcrux Diary bit. I also liked you addressed the Lupin problem - it's a good way to look at things from the other side. Although to be honest, Lupin isn't really such a great guy, he's quite selfish. I liked this chapter - personally, I'm not a smut-lover, so I don't care much for all that. Still, I like your action scenes. Quite good. And Hermione is interesting... not sure what to think about that. Time is fleeting, I've heard.
Author reply
Thanks for the review, Jeram. I'll go back and fix that mistake with the Auror names eventually--thanks for pointing it out. Glad you liked the bit with Lupin's motives too. I always felt like something was left unsaid in canon. He just wasn't there for Harry for so long. There's plenty more action coming next chapter, and Harry will get some action of the other variety as well. It won't be especially smutty though. Chp. 26 will be ready in a couple days.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 25 from darkrazial on September 16, 2009
Excellent chapetr, things are really heating up and I am looking forwward to the battle for hogsmeade keep it up david

Thanks for the review. I'll do my best to keep things exciting and realistic. The carnage will commence in a couple days, when the new chapter will be ready.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 25 from Voice of the Nephilim on September 15, 2009
I think this might be the most reviewed story on this website. You'd think the website tied directly to DLP would be a bit more generous with the reviews, but apparently not. I like this side of the new "Aurors". Under Voldemort's employ, you'd expect Aurors of this quality, but it's not something that we've really seen a great deal in this story, well, at least to this point. Yuk-yuk at Darren the rapist. It's a small detail, but I really like Harry stepping on the bodies to include them in the Portkey. Quality training session. Harry, meet boobies. Viva carnage! Well done on the chapter.
Author reply
Thanks for the review, Voice. I think you're right about the reviews, which is a bit odd. You'd think 'Wastelands of Time' or something similar would have 3,000 reviews by now. Who knows? Harry will meet more boobies next chapter, and he'll get a chance to put all that training to use. Next chapter will be out in a couple days. Cheers.
Review for The Potter Conspiracy Chapter 25 from BJH on September 15, 2009
Harry finally gets Pavarti topless, good on ya! I find it interesting that Hermione is jealous of Parvati rather than grateful that P is helping her to rebuild a friendship with Harry. Without Parvati, Hermie is still at Hogwarts getting memory charmed. The feeling I get from you portrayal of her is that she wants a romantic relationship with Harry and not just her friendship back. And does Lupin know the role DD played in his "betrayal" by James and Lilly? Does he see that DD murdered Sirius, even if indirectly, and that HE is the reason for the problems? Would that change Remus's feelings toward Harry? I liked Minerva's feeling of slowly realizing that DD is past his prime and fighting against admitting it, even to the point of sending others to their deaths to try to hold on to his ebbing power. BJH
Author reply
Thanks for the review, BJH. Hmmm....no comment on the Harry/Hermione relationship, except that they will eventually clear the air between them. Glad you liked the bit with Lupin and McGonagall. Lupin is not, in fact, aware of DD's manipulations of him, so things are complicated. More on McGonagall/Dumbledore later. Next chapter is almost finished and will be ready for posting soon.
