Quite an interesting story that is picking up nicely. I wish there were more for me to give a proper review on; however beggars can't be choosers. Your portrayal of Fleur is nice, although sending her underwear seems a bit ooc. Susan is also becoming a very likable character, and it's a shame Hannah had to die. I suppose really the only complaints I can make are the lack of updates and the story line doesn't seem to flow very well. That's probably due to the lack of material however and I think it will probably be a lot better with more information. Hope to see this updated again soon.

Wow, love it. Want more. :P Disdain =/= DIstain. Just something I noticed. Otherwise, this has to be the first fic I have read which deals with a muggle/wizard war, and so far you are doing it excellently. I love the characterization, very interested to see how you plan to drag Fleur into all of this as well.

Really good other than the abbreviated names, seems lazy and makes it seem less professional. Anyways can't wait for the next chapter.
Author reply
Thanks for the feedback. I assume you mean the "PM" that's more of a title or and office instead of a name. If you've seen a name that has been abbreviated then it was a error.

Finally got around to reading this update and I have to say it was worth the wait. I really like where this is going - the fight between the Muggles and Magicals has already escalated to numerous casualties for both sides and the Muggles are certainly giving it their all. I think it is safe to assume that there will be seven day's of war. I do wonder if that'll be the end of the fic after that. I hope you tell us why the PM chose to fight instead of being 'the bigger man'. To answer your question; yes, I do want to see more of this. Can't wait for more of either of your current stories. scaryisntit

I think that's a good assumption "the seven days thing" as for being over ... yes this particular story will be over at that point. Everyone is assuming that the PM okay'ed the attack on the Ministry, that what passes for thair army doing the fighting, and that he chose not to be the bigger man... a lot of assumptions. All of which are wrong. ;p But you'll find out about that in the next chapter.

Evidently the PM was un-willing or unable to 'be the bigger man', this attack seems to be pretty well planned. Can't wait to see where you are taking this next thanks for sharing

I thought Fleur was in here somewhere? Will we learn all the stupid things that the Weasleys have done? Did Hermione enjoy being buggered? Why is Harry so willing to kill soldiers? Will he kill Aurors as easily? Enjoy story.
Author reply
Fleur will appear in the next chapter. Eventually we will learn more about Ron and what Ginny did at Hogsmeade. I don't think I'll give anything away to tell you that Hermione does not like taking it in the backdoor. Harry is doing his best not to kill people, but he's not going to endanger his life or those of others by screwing around with stunning charms. As far as the Aurors goes ... we'll see. Thanks!

Awesome. But I don't know if muggles really can win an all out war if some powerful magicals who know muggles well enough want revenge. I mean how hard would it be to destroy the power plants, bridges, sanitation, fuel lines, ammo storage, etc. using magic?
Author reply
Both sides have a lot to lose and could be crippled easily. Find out how I'm goiing to do it starting next chapter.

Nice chapter. I found it interesting that not long after he said leave it alone, it's come down to this...the Ministry was attacked. Seems quite silly. Do the Muggle and Magical worlds descend into war now? Will the PM be pissed because he defended the Ministry? Look forward to more. -Raven

Well, I think the PM showed his reluctance to drop the matter and we don't know what went on behind the scenes after Harry left. I always picture the US Joint Chiefs stereotypically urging the Pres. to attack and using damn good reasons to do so. I'm sure GB has the same people doing the same things. We'll find out more later. War is upon us. No, the PM won't find out about the Ministry but he wil find out about what happen directly after and then we'll see if Harry loses his nifty new ID. Harry's about to get well and truly pissed and will be aided by the lovely and sometimes scary Fleur in Chapter 4. MWAH!

The war, from the very beginning... Interesting, but extremely hard to do properly. It'd be great if you will manage this. Personages seems more-or-less in-character, though it's hard to say after only one chapter. Now, in my opinion, Harry's comment concerning Ron's sexual life was slightly forced. You'd use such personal insults when you want to provoke someone or broke any relationship whatsoever — not when your best friend (and he is — as this is Post-DH story) irritates you. So this episode just shows that you dislike Ron... I think. Do you? By the way, all information included in the chapter aside from AN is excessive. Reader will see most of it at the top of the page, and can use your profile to get more. IMO in current state it looks a bit... unclean. Just saying that you may delete it without actually losing anything.

The difficulty level of this story is already showing it's ugly head, but the challange makes me want to write that much more. So it's a good thing. Harry insulting Ron will explain itself later. I used a lot of disposible lines in this chapter with the intent of explaining things later. I really don't mind Ron, or any of the Weasleys. I don't really think Ginny and he were matched well but not enough to hate the pairing. More on that later. The reason I use so much info at the begining is a personal one. It has to do with an underaged girl reading one of my rather racey stories and her mother doing everything she could to destroy me. Now if they read it there is no reason whatsoever for others to come at me. If they do I just say that there was a very bold warning at the begining and it's their own fault for not supervising their curious child.

I like it so far. Well, therejust seem to be some thing a bit unclear... like ...do we have have to assume that the time during your little time jump went canonwise? Is Voldemort still out there or is this going to be purely muggle vs. magical? But since I bet that this surely will be made clear in the next chapters, I am curious to your appoach on Fleur. So, keep it up!
Author reply
Yes, everything that happened in the years inbetween is canon. While there will be some scenes that will be inserted later there will be nothing that disputes the events between books 5-7. Since it is canon there will be no Voldemort with no hope whatsoever of returning. That isn't saying that there will be no Pureblood sabre rattleing, there will. Thanks for commenting
